Last year, Nov. 24, 2006, Governor Sutiyoso announced a plan to introduce Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) in Jakarta, but no results until he was no longer in the gubernatorial post last month. Today, (Nov. 14, 2007, The Jakarta Post wrote in the front page that an agency urged once again the city administration to implement ERP. Perhaps, parking fees should be doubled and the city administration must increase the number of buses in busway lanes, not only the lanes. Click on the following link to read the ERP concept.
