On Friday nite, I watched Sujiwino Tejo n Viki Sianipar musical show at Kafe Omah Sendok, Jl. Mpu Sendok 45, Senapati.
It was my first time watching T
ejo and Viki live show, which surprisingly impressed me more than I expected.
The combination between traditional music and song from Java (Banyuwangi) by Tejo and contemporary music by Viki produced a genuine performance. Although I was not Tejo’s fan, I really appreciated his original music. At the end of the show, I bought Tejo’s music CD to show my support for his music.
I will not describe it further as you better see the pictures I took.

You should take closer picture on Tejo’s expressive rolling eyes. He is a dalang, a puppet master, who made various experiments on the wayang’s textbooks (pakem). Good writer, too. Why not asking him to write here?

I took d picture w a pocket camera so that was the best result I could get. Despite the limitation, I think I was able to capture Tejo’s best expression at that night
I will invite Tejo to write, but not now…:)

I watched him too!! It’s a simple, great -intimate- show. I’m one of the Sudjiwo Tejo’s biggest fans since I was in a college. His unique talent brings the audience to enjoy the music even we don’t understand the language. It was fun!! Anyam-anyaman nyaman is my favorite one..
Looking forward to see his next -entertaining- show!
I heard they want to establish community named KPST (Kelompok Pencinta Sudjiwo Tejo), it must be interesting
